- How does a vendor send me a bill if they're not on Settle?
- Two ways. You can share your Intake link, where they fill out a short form and the bill arrives structured. Or you can forward a PDF they emailed you into Settle and it lands in your inbox the same way. Either way, it's not still sitting in your email.
- Is Invoice Inbox free?
- Yes. Receiving bills is free forever. You can review them, pay them, and keep a clean record on the free plan. Paid plans add approval workflows and vendor management.
- How do I pay a bill from my inbox?
- Open it, click Pay. Choose card or ACH to pay through Settle, or mark it paid by wire, check, or whatever method you actually used. The vendor gets notified, and the payment is on your record.
- Can I require approvals before bills get paid?
- Yes. Set a threshold by amount, vendor, or category. Bills that need approval get routed to the right person, and the approval shows up on the audit trail.
- Will the bills I paid years ago still be searchable?
- Yes. As long as your account is active, your bills and payment records stay searchable by vendor, date, amount, or status. Export to CSV any time.
